On June 30th, the Alpine Peak Challenge team will be acclimatising in the Swiss Alps to reach Point Burnaby summit safely on July 4th. Miles Bright, an internationally qualified guide based in Chamonix, France will be leading the expedition with the assistance of Adam Kelly, sport and fitness coach along with Bill Roberts who is the creative force behind the TCF Alpine Peak Challenge. The team comprising of a total of nineteen people, many of them cancer survivors and some just recently completed their treatment are undertaking the challenge to raise much needed funds for cancer research.
