Following from our successful Guinness World Record longest awareness ribbon chain last May 2014, we are busily preparing for another Guinness World Record attempt for the LONGEST LINE OF TEDDY BEARS.

On Sunday 17th May, The Caroline Foundation is getting together with LAKERS (www.lakers.ie) in another Guinness World Record attempt.  This time we are going for LONGEST LINE OF TEDDY BEARS!

We need YOU to join us. Contact Helen NOW!

“IF YOU CAN’T BE THERE, SPONSOR A BEAR” for €10 by paying on-line via the CCRT portal from the drop-down menu, please scroll to The Caroline Foundation Longest Line of Teddy Bears.donate_online

We would really be grateful for your help in either of the following ways:

1) As an INDIVIDUAL VOLUNTEER – Would you be willing to collect 10 TEDDY BEARS at € 10 a BEAR from friends and neighbours? If so, PLEASE get in touch for full details.

2) As a TEAM LEADER – Would you be willing to RECRUIT 9 others with you to form a TEAM – each of whom will collect 10 BEARS @ € 10 a BEAR (100 BEARS PER TEAM)? Think about this – are there 9 other people in your PLACE OF WORK? COMPANY? RESIDENTIAL ESTATE? CLUB? Etc. that you could invite to participate in setting a new Guinness World Record – have a great day out and help others at same time? We would just love to hear from you.

So, in summary:
1 INDIVIDUAL VOLUNTEER = 10 TEDDY BEARS

1 TEAM                                     = 100 TEDDY BEARS

Both individual volunteers, team members and Team Leaders would ideally turn up on the day – Sunday 17th May from 10.30am to 12.30pm.

As we did last year, the route will be divided into 80 sections – well signposted. Each team will be assigned a section of the route well in advance of the day.

It is our hope that this will be a fun, family day out with music and entertainment to add to the atmosphere.
