Two very successful information evenings took place in Bray and Greystones for Cell Leaders and participants for the Guinness World Record Awareness Ribbon Chain attempt that will be taking place on Sunday 11th May.

IT WOULD HELP US ENORMOUSLY IF YOU PLEASE:
Pre the Event:
- Register with your Group Leader
- Pay your DONATION
- Find out the information needed in advance of the event – see below.
On Sunday May 11th
1. Arrive on time:
a. Groups gathering for 10.30am – no waiting for late comers
b. ‘Sign in’ with your group leader
c. Find out in advance (from your group leader) exact NUMBER & Meeting Point of your group
d. Groups at their ‘station’ for 11.30 – NO LATER!
e. If an emergency happens and you arrive late – go to EVENT CENTRE clearly signposted on Promenade in Bray, opposite Ocean Restaurant and near Beach House in Greystones. You will be given instructions there.
2. Bring your own WATER.
3. If at all possible WALK to your meeting point. If you need to take a car please park away from event location and then walk – PLAN PARKING IN ADVANCE.
4. Wear appropriate clothing for the weather – you will be standing in your station for one hour (approx.)
5. If your station is on Cliff Walk section please wear appropriate footwear.
6. Familiarise yourself with Toilet locations – and be aware that there are no toilets as you advance further onto the Cliff Walk Section of the route.
7. RE T-shirts:
a. T-Shirts are given by group leaders when members ‘Sign in’ on morning of 11th.
b. Late registrations may not get a T-Shirt-in that case wear any WHITE T-SHIRT
8. Follow instructions of STEWARDS, Security Personnel and Medical Team and Group Leader
9. Remember: No Litter – please place all litter in bags/bins provided by organisers.
