SCHOOLS, COLLEGES, UNIVERSITIES – Get involved by Wearing Any Ribbon and DONATE € 2 for CANCER RESEARCH in IRELAND

We would love to hear from Transition Year classes from around the country to get involved and raise much needed funds for Cancer Research in Ireland. Many transition year students are already making their own ribbons and will be selling them on Wednesday 4th February, we even have a school in Kuwait on board!

»Secure Payment can be made online via the CCRT portal from the drop-down menu ‘The Caroline Foundation Awareness Ribbon Day’ HERE.

Kuwait

Mike O’Sullivan Principal of Gulf English School, KUWAIT CITY, with teachers Sandra Harris (Cork) on right and Lisa Al Qatari have just launched Awareness Ribbon Day for TCF in Kuwait City!

The Foundation’s first fundraising activity in 2015 will be on WEDNESDAY 04 FEBRUARY to mark WORLD CANCER DAY.

In May 2013 the Foundation set a new Guinness World Record for Longest Awareness Ribbon Chain – see link to the Video of GWR on YouTube. Building on that achievement we are organising an AWARENESS RIBBON DAY on WEDNESDAY 04 FEBRUARY.

As Caroline was a PRIMARY TEACHER we are asking Schools and Colleges around Ireland to participate.

The concept is very simple: Members of each school/college/university are invited to make their own ribbon (any colour) wear it on 04 February (any way they wish) and DONATE € 2.

Many schools and colleges already have chosen charities for 2015 – in that case we ask that they donate 50% of funds raised to their own charity of choice and 50% to The Caroline Foundation.

We would be so appreciative if your school were to join with us on Wednesday 04 February.

Do please let us know ONE WAY OR THE OTHER as it helps us in our organisation of the event. Contact Helen at helen@thecarolinefoundation.com
